MIAMI… Archbishop Thomas Wenski was in Rome, along with archbishops from all over the world, to receive his pallium from Pope Benedict XVI on June 29— the symbol of his office as metropolitan archbishop.
The Pallium Mass aired live on this webpage at 3:30 a.m. local time (9:30 a.m Rome time) on June 29, and was replayed at 6 p.m. To view the Mass, courtesy of Rome Reports, click here.
Over 200 laity, religious and priests from the Archdiocese of Miami and the Diocese of Orlando traveled with Archbishop Wenski on a pilgrimage to Rome from June 25- July 2.
Ana Rodriguez-Soto, editor of The Florida Catholic in Miami, wrote a daily blog
of
Archbishop Wenski’s pallium pilgrimage. The blog, and a slide
show of pictures from each day, is available, just pick a headline and click:
Photos of the pilgrimage are posted — and can be purchased — at www.dotphoto.com. Sign in as a guest,
then put in the username “flcmiami” to go to the pallium pilgrimage
albums. Or click on any of the photos posted with the articles to take you directly to the site.
Thank you Ana for the fine report and for keeping us in touch with our Archbishop Wenski, God Bless him and our Blessed Mother be always his guide. Again thanks Ana, like always you do a fine job. Sincerely in Christ, Lourdes
